With over 35 years of experience, award winning financial brokers Mortgage Finance Brokers (MFB) have achieved the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NAFCB) Assured Status. The NACFB are the UK's largest trade body for commercial finance brokers.

The award, given in July 2026, signals MFB’s commitment to transparency, professionalism and regulatory best practice.

The award gives MFB clients added confidence and trust, and independent verification of standards. Clients will also benefit from MFB broker access to a wider lender network. The latter bolsters MFB’s capacity to complete complex cases and provides peace of mind, better access to finance, and smoother administrative processes for customers.

MFB’s mission statement, “to be the mortgage brokerage that clients love working with and our staff love working for”, is reflected significantly through the new Assured Status.

To secure the award, MFB demonstrated its commitment to operating at the highest professional standards through the implementation of well-defined policies, controls, and procedures designed to ensure regulatory compliance, fair treatment of customers, effective complaints handling, and adherence to data protection and GDPR regulations.

Speaking about the importance of award, Managing Director, Gavin Richardson stated:

"As MFB continues to grow, it is important that our standards grow with us. Achieving NACFB Assured status provides independent recognition of the quality, integrity and professionalism that have always been central to our approach. It reinforces our commitment to doing business the right way and delivering positive outcomes for clients, introducers and lender partners alike”.

NACFB CEO, Jim Higginbotham, noted:

As one of the NACFB’s key firms, Mortgage Finance Brokers has clearly understood the value of the trade body’s Assurance process - not simply as a badge, but as a way of demonstrating to lenders and clients the integrity of its business, the robustness of its processes and its commitment to maintaining high compliance standards. That willingness to evidence good practice is exactly what the programme is designed to encourage.

The assurance process encouraged a detailed review of MFB’s existing procedures and provided an opportunity to refine documentation, strengthen controls and ensure consistency across the business.

Collaborators across the business, including senior leadership, compliance, operations and advisory teams, worked collectively to evidence the policies, procedures and standards that underpin MFB's client proposition.
